For project 2 I was not too sure on what aspects of my life I wanted to discuss.  I got my inspirations for this project from two of the most important turning point I have had in my life and one aspect of my life that I am currently living.  My project was interesting for the most part because of the way I decided to design and organize my project.  I decided to do a couple things in my project.  One thing I did was a conversation that I had with my father when I was younger.  This was an important part of my life because that is when it was instilled in me that I was going to become a football player and nothing else.  So instead of just writing the dialogue and putting it on a page I decided it will would be better if I made a bunch of random memes that had the conversation we had on it.  The second major aspect of my life that I chose to discuss was they conversation I had with my parents about the school that I will attend.  I had a number of different scholarships to a lot of schools that were good in sports and academics.  For this I just wrote out the conversation in a dialogue format and put a picture of the school that I attended.  This was just a basic page and there wasn’t too much in it because the conversation was too plain.  The last aspect of my life that I decided to discuss was attending the University of Colorado.  The approach I took with this part of my project was a little interesting.  I decided to describe the school in two ways. The first was the way that my parents thought the school was.  I also talked about how the school is looked at by other parents as well.  The thought of the parents varied from all types of explanations.  It was sought out by my parents that this school was good academically and did have a lot of parties because of the school website and pictures that they saw.  But my parents were wrong.  That is when I begin to briefly describe the other part of this school.  I also embedded a link into a photo that I used as an example.  The last part of my project that I thought would be interesting to include was a page of different songs that describe the different emotions that goes on in me during the day.  So in all this project my not portray my life thoroughly but you can get a sense of what my life is.  

Chapter 3

The school my parents thought they were sending me to was not actually what it looked like in the college pamphlets.  It was also not the school the portrayed it to be.  They thouht they were sending me to this school but they were mistaken. This is what they see: Clik picture 

 

This school looks different when parents bring their kids during orientation.  This school looks different when they move their kids into their dorms right before the semester starts.  This school looks different when they look at the school site.  But this school changes when its night time.  This schools changes on the weekends.  This school changes on holidays.  This school is the best choice I’ve made in life! Chapter 2

Discussion about College 

Parents: you should go to the university of Colorado

Son: no i want to stay in california and go to UCLA

Parents: no you have to get out of California and go try something new in this world. In plus you can go there and play as a true freshman. 

Son: yea i know but i want to stay here in Cali close to all the family. 

Parents: no! if you stay here then you will only get in trouble! especially because your brothers and consins are to close and they will come to your school and do stupid stuff! we cant risk that, you are the way out! 

Son: why do i have to be the one? 

Parents: becuase you are the only one that is given an opportunity to make out of this shit place and make a living. You can go to school in colorado and just focus on footbal so you can go the NFL and make money for they family! 

Son: but what if i just want to live life like a normal person and just go to school? 

Parents: well thats to bad cause we are your parents ans we know best so when signing day comes your going to sign to colorado and thats where you will go and play football! Understand? 

Son: Yes i understand! its for the family right?

My brother was feeling angry after an altercation with a friend about whose football team was better. After that he no longer wanted to play football so he wanted to play basketball now.  He went to a bar to relieve stress and got some advice from an interesting person.

Brother: whats up man what you up to/

Bob Marley: jah rastafari, nothing man just cooling, why so angry?

Brother: ohh snap aren’t you bob Marley on of the greatest reggae singers of all time?

Bob Marley: Yea man, don’t say it so loud I don’t want any attention brought here to us!

What wrong man you look angry? You want to take a hit of this blunt and talk about it man?

Brother: nah I’m good I get tested by my football coaches! But yea I just got in an argument with one of my friends about football! It really got my angry and now I’m thinking of quitting and playing another sport. You got any advice?

Bob Marley: Jah, see man you have to look at it from a different perspective, man. You got listen to some of my cool music and think about you decisions. You see man I don’t know what the hell football is. I’m from the island of Jamaica and we don’t play football but what we do play a lot is reggae music when we get angry.  We also smoke a lot of ganja man you feel what I’m sayin man.

Brother: nah man I feel you on listening to the music but not smoking the weed. Sometimes I get angry like this and I like to listen to RnB.

Bob Marley: What the hell man. You have to listen to reggae man to relax. Even smoke a blunt.

Brother: are you even listening to me?   

Bob Marley: nah man im to high man! Hahah do you see that in the air man/

Brother: no what are you talking bout bruh?

Bob Marley(points): there man it flying around the bar man. You cant see it? It looks like a unicorn man.

Brother: wait what? You trippin bruh! What are you smoking on man cause you seeing shit right now.

Bob Marley: jah, you right man, I don’t know what going on man, Jah bless,

Bob Marley: you heard of the Rastafarian movement man, where we praise Haile Selassie, and smoke a lot of weed man?

Brother: Nah I haven’t heard of it man! What does that have to do with what im walking about bruh.

Bob Marley: Nothing man just wanted to see if you wanted to be a part of our movement man.

Brother: No man you were supposed to be giving me advice on whether or not I should quit football and play basketball instead!!

Bob Marley: ohh man I’m sorry man I don’t know want you want man but my best advice man is to lay back play some reggae and smoke a blunt man! Jah Rastafarai
